In the group were Bobby Hutcherson, Javon Jackson, Ronnie Mathews, Louis Hayes and myself. Claudine did the tour with us which took us to such places as Acereal, Sicily, Rome, Liepzig, Germany, Paris, Belgium and Holland. After, there were tours with Jimmy Heath, where we performed at the first Festival du Jazz in Monaco and with Randy Weston and the Gnaoua musicians of Morocco. At the same time I was touring with my trio as well as composing music for different ensembles.
